Primeknit gets to the adidas EQT Support RF
The EQT line will forever be known as one of the major turning points for adidas. With pieces inspired and designed by former Nike creative Peter Moore, the Equipment series represents a drastic shift. Heading away from trends of flash and style, the EQT line would strip it all away in favor of substance. It was now all about the athlete. With some upgrades, the EQT Support RF continues that tradition.
Of course, the most notable alteration is on the shoe’s upper. The base material, usually pairing breathable mesh with synthetic hints, opts for something a little lighter on your feet. This EQT now boasts a helping of the brand’s signature Primeknit build.
The airy, featherweight construction gives you all the advantages of a premium knit upper without ever sacrificing support and function. In fact, some of the OG support features are maintained, including the webbing tape lateral 3-stripes.
It’s one of the more memorable designs from the archives of adidas, but carries with it some welcome upgrades. Even in its most current state, the EQT Support RF continues to be all about the athlete.
